Nation of Shopkeepers Exhibition Ideas

www.riddlers.org

My life can be measured in hours, I serve by being devoured; Thin, I am quick; Fat, I am slow; Wind is my foe. What am I?
A candle.

I cannot be felt, seen or touched, yet I can be found in everybody. My existence is always in debate, yet I have my own style of music.
I'm a soul.

I am a box that holds keys without locks, yet they can unlock your soul. What am I?
A Piano.

What gets whiter the dirtier it gets?
A blackboard/chalkboard.

This thing is a most amazing thing.
For it can be both as sharp as a knife,
Or as flat as a floor.
And yet, for all that it can be,
It is as natural as a bee.
Music.

.....................................................

The three chosen riddles share an underlying theme of music. Type and image is used to portray thoughts about music in a visual form. The intention of these posters is to celebrate music and art working together. The riddles vary from being specifically about music, to more abstract references surrounding the genre. Each print has been created using traditional print methods to ensure the quality is as authentic and unique as a piece of live music.

Can you guess what these riddles may be…?
